As part of Queensland Seniors Month, we invite everyone to enjoy an afternoon and evening of French themed activities!
3pm to 6.30pm - meet new friends while enjoying several French themed activities - a fun quiz/trivia, some singing and some games! Finish the afternoon with some French inspired nibbles. You are welcome to BYO as there will be no alcohol.
6.30pm to 9pm - in partnership with our friends Keppel Coast Flix, enjoy the French film “Other People’s Children” (M).
40-year-old Parisian high school teacher Rachel loves her life: she’s inspired by her work and is close to her friends, sister and widowed father. When she meets a man in her community guitar class - the charming and recently-separated Ali - Rachel commences not only a relationship with him, but also his four-year-old daughter, Leila.
“One of the year’s very best films, Zlotowski’s sweetly sensitive exploration of a relationship taking place on the verge of middle age really is a must-see.” Catherine Bray, The Guardian
