Le Bon Weekend - 11 to 13 October
This year we are trying a new venue: Ferns Hideaway at Byfield. As always, you will enjoy great company, great food and wine. We offer various activities including singing, treasure hunt, French region discovery, French film, theatre, trivia and more! And of course, there’s time to enjoy the leisure facilities provided, go for a walk, take a swim, go canoeing, or simply relax at this hidden retreat.
Camp or stay in a cabin for 2 nights, or visit us for the day! Find out below various available packages.
French Singing Workshop in Yeppoon - 16 November
We have collaborated with talented choral director, musician, and fluent French speaker, Lorraine Manifold to bring to you our second French singing workshop, followed by a free community concert.
You don’t need to be fluent in French to join in on the fun - non-speakers are welcome! Lorraine and Alliance Française CQ members will be there to assist you.
French Conversation Groups
Every Saturday, French language lovers and students of AF meet either in Rockhampton at Riverston Tea Rooms (Quay Street) between 1.00pm to 3.00pm…
…or in Rosslyn Bay at The Waterline from 1:30pm to 3:00pm.
The two groups meet on alternate Saturdays so to find out where we are meeting, it’s best to contact us or to check our FB or Insta accounts on Saturday mornings.
Conversation groups are free other than the cost of purchasing a drink or some food. Interested?
