On 20 October 2022, over 50 guests enjoyed an afternoon and evening of French themed activities!
Sadly the scheduled petanque was rained off, but we enjoyed a fun quiz about France, sang some French songs, enjoyed a light dinner made of French inspired food, and watched French film “The Young Lovers” (M), in partnership with Keppel Flix. The event was organised as part of QLD Seniors Month.
We had a wonderful time on Konomie (North Keppel Island) on Woppaburra Country. Great fun, great company, great food and wine. We had various activities including singing, treasure hunt, French region discovery, theatre, quiz and more! And some time to enjoy a walk, swim and simply relaxing on this paradise island!
We celebrated 14 juillet (or Bastille Day!) with a film evening at Yeppoon Town Hall and a Picnic and Pétanque afternoon!
Thanks to everyone who enjoyed the screening of French film Petite Maman. The event was organised in partnership with our friends from Keppel Flix.
Then on Saturday 16th July, we enjoyed cooking crêpes, playing pétanque, songs, quiz, cheese and wine! A great afternoon.
